Advanced Medicine - MRI

The MRI Center is equipped with two high-field (1.5 Tesla) systems. A complete range of exams is offered including brain, spine, temporo-mandibular joint, knee, shoulder, limbs, chest, heart, abdomen, and pelvis. Blood vessels are imaged with MR angiography. The biochemistry and function of the brain are investigated with magnetic resonance spectroscopy and functional MRI, respectively. Facilities Solutions Group provided comprehensive architectural design, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services.

We worked early in the design process with the university to plan the logistics of the delivery and installation of the MRI. Re-engineered the computer room to handle the additional MRI control equipment while keeping the existing MRI in operation. |

DCAM – OB/GYN Ultrasound Renovation
Chicago, Illinois.
This department needed to add additional ultrasound rooms due to increased demand from patients and the desire to decrease waiting time for patients. Because the space allocated to the department was limited, FSG assisted the department in identifying additional room to expand the department and fulfill the desired objectives. Coordinating with ultrasound equipment manufacturers and the university, the team was able to reduce the room sizes and still meet the needed capacity of the department. |
